I have been the wife to the MOST amazing man for almost 10 years!! Justin McKie, my patient husband, grew up in Texoma, graduating from Petrolia High School. We have identical, twin 5-year-old boys who rule the roost! Camden and Chase are in Kindergarten this year, and they keep us on our toes.
I went to school, K-12, at Community I.S.D, which is near my hometown of Farmersville, Texas. After graduating, I received a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of North Texas, in Denton. Post college, I dove right into outside sales. After a successful 16-year career in outside sales at Newell Rubbermaid and Kohler Company, I am bringing my business acumen, leadership skills, and passion for service, into the exciting world of Real Estate. During my tenure at Kohler, I consistently met my sales numbers, while providing excellent customer service to those whom I called on. I won the John Michael Kohler award, which is an accolade that only 6 executives a year are honored with.
I was passionate about my corporate sales career, but three years ago there came a point where my family needed me more than my company did, which brought us to WICHITA FALLS from the DFW Metroplex. I have fallen in love with the Texoma area. The people have welcomed us with open arms, and we are proud to call Wichita Falls HOME!!
In my “spare time”, I enjoy running, working out, traveling, reading, cooking, and volunteering. One of my favorite aspects of Wichita Falls is the incredible paved trail system. Thankfully, I don’t have to go far from my home, in Midwestern Farm, before I’ve made my way on to the Lake Wichita dam. The Junior League of Wichita Falls has provided the perfect avenue for me to get involved in our community, which I’ve been actively doing for two years. My aim (I’m a work in progress) for living a healthy lifestyle has brought me to a place where I love to cook. If I can serve my family a healthy meal, where 3 out of the 4 eat it, then I’m a WINNER!!!
I mentioned that my husband grew up in the Texoma area, and his family is still here. I’m privileged to be a part of Mary and the late James McKie family. Mary was the Executive Vice President of the North Texas Home Builders Association for over 20 years. So, the McKie name has been associated with homes for quite some time. Now it’s my turn to serve this wonderful community as a Realtor with Hirschi Realtors. I’m excited to get to know HOW I can help you with all of your real estate needs!
